White & black tigers

White tigers

Also white tigers have occured. They are very rare and occure more and more less.

The fallback of the white tiger is for the same reason as why they are white: white is a recessive gene. so they only have a white utterance when the tiger carries both recessive lethal genes. Even when the tiger is orange, there is a chance that it will give birth to white cubs, at least if the parents both contain the recessive lethal gene. If two orange tigers with both the recessive lethal gene in them compare, there is a chance of 1 to 4 (25%) that they will get white cubs. With a orange and a white tiger, there's a chance of 1 to 2 (50%). When two white tigers reproduce, there is a chance of 1 to 1 (100%).
According to this it's possible that a litter has both white and orange cubs in it.

Black tigers

Black tigers have the same cause as the white tigers. Except that they are extremely rare. Often they say that black tigers have no stripes. That's not true, but his fur is so black that you can't see his (a little bit more black) stripes.
